Give the union a clear strategy and principles of engagement for their content.
We worked with agency Fat Beehive on their website redevelopment project for the National Education Union. We lead on an audit of the old NEU site to identify areas for improvement and understand how audiences were currently interacting with the website. This looked at SEO, Core Web Vitals, accessibility and content design principles.
We ran a content strategy workshop with key stakeholders from the NEU, running mind-mapping sessions to gather their insights and feedback on the websites’ users and current content. The workshop discoveries led to the development of a content strategy and a tone of voice guide for the new NEU website, based around three core content principles for engagement. This was then used for further website development, including content creation and IA design.
